my slack ass has been distracted with the dog issues and the all too frequent snow days we've been having as of late, so i finally got my shit together yesterday and finished it...as well as the v.d. baking for shann's class and sparks...the only thing i like about v.d. is the heart shaped food. other than that, v.d. can suck it.

today i hope to finish up with the dishcloth and possibly the tea towels...maybe i'll do the tea towels first, as embroidery will go faster and i'll feel like i've done 'something'

is what dragged me back to the dark side of lj-land...i tried a bajillion times to get my old username thing figured out...but it seems like my computer hates lj, so we shall see...it wouldn't let me figure out how to reset the password...ah well...i was sick of being melmelon2000 anyway...melmelonsucks is much more fitting....

so what exactly have i done since the new year....
two sets of arm/wristwarmers, a hat, the rest of the sleeve to the cranky old bastard's sweater, 1/3 of the back of it, made some red pepper tequila jelly, and i'm not sure what else...oh yes...i actually took my finger out of my ass and finished the baby blanket for the nephew who turns one this february...bad auntie...which reminds me...another nephew turns two in about a week exactly...and bad auntie hasn't even bought/made a card for him yet...i hate birthday season...it starts this coming week and goes until may...at which point there will be the summer lull and then it picks up again at the beginning of october.
